Each week that we work together, we'll try to follow the same rhythm. On Wednesday, the beginning of our week, I'll post some kind of meaty dilemma as the centerpiece of our reflections and learning. Often it will be a short story, or a couple of video clips, or some other form of media that we can gather around.
From Wednesday through Friday, the small groups will work their specific angle with the centerpiece using MyLutherNet discussion threads. Each small group will practice a different angle each week, so that by the end of our time together your group will have had a chance to work with five sets of questions/perspectives.
By Saturday each small group will need to post to the class blog (details here) a summary of their best reflections. Part of my goal in using a class blog is to share our best thinking with the wider world.
Sunday through Tuesday we'll carry on a larger group discussion based on the summaries, then on Wednesday we'll start with the next centerpiece.
